Injured Tottenham star spotted back on the grass in training already. Tottenham Hotspur’s injury crisis just got moderately better, as Richarlison has been back on the training pitch as he continues his recovery from surgery on his pelvis.
Since joining Tottenham in the summer of 2022, Richarlison has had a fairly tough time of it. The Brazilian struggled for form last season, scoring just three goals in the whole campaign and having to wait until April for his first Premier League goal for the Lilywhites (Transfermarkt).
Ironically, he has already matched that domestic tally this season, as well as bagging another goal in the Carabao Cup (Transfermarkt). Indeed, Richarlison has looked a little brighter under Ange Postecoglou.
However, injuries are once again hampering his progress, with the 26-year-old recently undergoing surgery for a pelvis issue he has been carrying (ESPN). The star shared on Instagram that he had been playing through ‘a lot of pain’ prior to this surgery.
Richarlison is just one of many Tottenham players on the injury table right now, with key players such as James Maddison and Micky van de Ven out until the New Year. But, thankfully, it seems Richarlison will be back in action sooner rather than later.

A post from the club’s official Twitter account shows Richarlison back on the grass, striking the ball, and looking pretty happy, too. The post is captioned, “Richy stepping up his rehab.”

Tottenham fans will likely be smiling at the prospect of getting a first-team player back to fitness soon, and will also be hoping that Postecoglou’s recent claim that Richarlison will be ready to ‘contribute’ once he returns (ESPN Brazil).
We’ll take every player we can get right now, and the return of a hungry Richarlison with a point to prove will be a big boost for Spurs. Hopefully, he’s ready to go again soon!
