West Ham ready to pay £21.4m to bring Scotland international Lewis Ferguson back to Britain from Serie A
West Ham United are said to be keen to bring Lewis Ferguson back to Britain from Serie A in January.
According to a report from Tuttojuve, Bologna attacking midfielder Lewis Ferguson is firmly on the West Ham radar ahead of the January transfer window.
The six-capped Scotland international, 24, moved to Bologna from Aberdeen in the summer of 2022 for around £3 million (Sky Sports).
And he has been a big hit with the Italian side, bagging 10 goals and four assists in 47 games for them so far (Transfermarkt).
With Hammers boss David Moyes on the look out for more attack-minded, creative midfielders, Ferguson could well be the man for the job this winter.

Tuttojuve reckon that the Hammers are primed and ready to make a £21.4 million offer for the 24-year-old in January.
However, Moyes won’t have things all his own way, with Juventus and Brentford keen on the Scottish ace as well.
I believe that Ferguson would be a really strong addition for West Ham.
He possesses fantastic technical ability, has a keen eye for goal and killer pass, and is a very hard worker – a prerequisite for anyone who wants to play under David Moyes.
The attacking midfielder has experience of playing top level football out in Italy and he would add something to our midfield that we don’t currently possess.
If West Ham manage to sign Lewis Ferguson this winter, I’ll be more than happy, although I kind of feel like we shouldn’t be paying more than £15-18 million for him.
With Juventus and Brentford in the race for his signature as well though, the Hammers clearly won’t be able to get him on the cheap. And it remains to be seen whether Ferguson ends up at the London Stadium in January.
