Tottenham Hotspur could be set to steal a talented youngster right from the grasp of West Ham United in the January transfer window.
West Ham and Tottenham are both expected to be busy during the January transfer window, but in this case it’s not a big money new arrival who is taking centre stage.
Hammers boss David Moyes and Spurs chief Ange Postecoglou could be about to battle it out for one of the most talented young players in Britain.
The name is George Feeney. He’s just 15 and he is making serious waves already in Northern Ireland with Glentoran.
The talented teenager is a hugely exciting young player, and is the son of current Glentoran boss Warren Feeney.
Now though, he could be set for a move to England, with West Ham believed to be leading the race for his signature.
However, Spurs are now threatening to throw a spanner into the works for the Hammers.

According to a report from BBC Sport, Spurs have now thrown their hat into the ring in the chase for Feeney’s signature.
That’s obviously a big blow for the Hammers, and the really bad news is that Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace want to sign him as well.
Hopefully we still manage to pull this one out the bag and win the race for Feeney, because he is a hugely talented young player.
Moyes has already signed some of the most talented youngsters from the Northern Irish league over the past year or so, with Patrick Kelly, Callum Marshall and Michael Forbes all now playing for West Ham.
The Belfast Telegraph recently suggested that he has ‘generated quite a buzz in England with his potential, eye for goal and all action style’.
A pacy forward, George Feeney possesses great movement and has impressive technical ability. There are obviously no guarantees that he’ll go on to become a star in the game, but the early signs are very good indeed.
I’m just hoping that West Ham manage to beat Tottenham to his services in the January transfer window.
