West Ham fans get Ivan Toney answer as reporter close to David Sullivan makes brand new claim
West Ham United fans have seemingly been delivered an emphatic answer regarding a potential move to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the January transfer window.
Ivan Toney has been a transfer target for West Ham for quite some time now (Football London), and with him set to leave Brentford this winter, those rumours have started up once again.
West Ham allegedly tried to sign the 27-year-old centre-forward from Brentford in January of this year, but he remained with the west London outfit in the end.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a new centre-forward this winter. And Brentford are prepared to sell Toney for around £50-60 million according to Fabrizio Romano.

Claret and Hugh are claiming that while the former Newcastle and Peterborough striker will probably leave Brentford in January, he won’t be joining West Ham.
That’s a real gutter as far as I’m concerned – he would have been an absolutely sensational addition for us.
The powerful striker has bagged an impressive 68 goals and 21 assists in 124 games for Brentford (Transfermarkt).
So it’s back to the drawing board for Moyes it seems, with the January transfer window fast approaching.
It’s not all bad, the absolute perfect long-term Michail Antonio replacement is out there and available for just £17 million – Serhou Guirassy.
The Stuttgart striker has been in sensational form this season, with 14 goals in just eight games for the German side to his name.
Guirassy would be a brilliant signing for the Hammers either this winter or in the summer. However, the fact that West Ham look set to miss out on Ivan Toney still hurts. He was my number one choice.
