Seventh in the league having only lost to champions Man City and challengers Liverpool, through to the Carabao Cup fourth round and top of their Europa League group with two wins from two.

Truth from senior West Ham source after Lucas Paqueta new contract claims in wake of Jarrod Bowen deal
Jarrod Bowen put the cherry and the icing on the cake at the weekend by signing a new SEVEN-YEAR deal with West Ham, insisting he wants to end his career at the club.
No sooner had he done that, though, than rumours emerged that Kurt Zouma and Lucas Paqueta were next in line for new contracts.
The Zouma talk was instantly denied and was quickly followed by reports of a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
TeamTalk and other West Ham outlets have claimed West Ham are now looking to reward talisman Paqueta with a new deal on around £200k per week.
‘Paqueta new deal? There’s no need’ says senior Hammers source
But those claims have no substance at all according to the top source inside West Ham.
Now we bring you the truth from a senior West Ham source after Paqueta new contract claims in the wake of the Bowen deal.
Speaking to Hammers News, a top source inside the club says the claims are not true and that Paqueta effectively still has nearly five years of his deal remaining as one of West Ham’s top earners.
“With our option he’s got five years to go (on his deal),” the source told Hammers News.
“He’s also one of our top earners, there’s no need to look at his contract for several years.”
So there you have it West Ham fans.
No new deal in the works but no need to panic either. West Ham hold all the cards on this one right now.
With an £85m release clause the Hammers will be well recompensed if Paqueta’s collapsed move to Man City is ever resurrected.
And with the FA investigation expected to be a lengthy one, any prospect of that may be some way off.
