Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea are now actively trying to sign Rayan Cherki.
According to Football Transfers, both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Rayan Cherki from Lyon in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have had an initial offer for the 19-year-old turned down.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are now ready to make a new offer of €40 million (£34.64 million) for Cherki, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
Football Transfers have claimed that Chelsea are in talks with the agents of Cherki, and so are Tottenham.

The Blues appear to be more determined than Spurs to get a deal done.
After all, Chelsea have had an initial bid already turned down and are now planning a new offer.
We believe that it would be tough for the playmaker to choose between Chelsea and Tottenham.
Both are massive clubs based in London and will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next Cherki scored four goals and gave six assists in those matches.

Lyon manager Laurent Blanc described Cherki as a “very talented” player who “has exceptional qualities” in GNFN in April 2023.
The France Under-21 international made 21 starts and 13 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon last season.
