Club have ‘reached agreement’ with Tottenham for midfielder

Despite claims from France that Ange Postecoglou was willing to give Tanguy Ndombélé a chance at Tottenham in pre-season, there are still clubs circling.

In fact, according to Ethem Sündük, editor and writer for Fanatik in Turkey, Spurs are rumored to have reached an agreement for the player to join Galatasaray on loan for the upcoming campaign.

This week, he announced on Twitter that Tottenham and the Super Lig team had “reached an agreement” on a transfer for Ndombélé.

Additionally, the Frenchman’s salary of €2.5 million per year had apparently ‘been agreed,’ but it does not guarantee the transaction will proceed.

According to Sündük, the decision to sign the Tottenham player will be totally based on what happens with Lucas Torreira and Leandro Paredes.

The Uruguayan appears to be leaving Turkey, and while Ndombélé may step in to take his place, it seems the Argentine would prefer the position if he were to become available.

To make it obvious that Spurs “do not demand a fee” up front to let their player go, if Paredes doesn’t show up, the Tottenham midfielder would take Torreira’s spot.

That doesn’t sound a lot like Daniel Levy, but, then again, after all the headaches he has caused in the past, just getting him away from the club for an extra season could be good enough for everyone if Postecoglou really doesn’t want him around.
