West Ham are unlikely to rush Michail Antonio back from injury before the end of the season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it would be more sensible for him to use the summer to build his fitness back.
The Jamaica international has been out of action for the Irons since a horrific car crash back in December.

A senior West Ham source claimed that there is a small chance the 34-year-old is back in action before the end of the season.
He’s understood to have stepped up his recovery and travelled to Dubai for a specialist rehabilitation programme.
However, the risk/reward does not add up for the Hammers as the games towards the end of the season are usually higher intensity ones.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “I’d be extremely surprised if he plays this season considering the extent of his injury and particularly late on in the season where the intensity of matches can be higher.
“Right now, it’s unlikely they will rush him back before the summer.
“The risk/reward would be more sensible to take the off-season to keep building and come back next season.“

The Hammers will have a decision to make on Antonio as his contract will run out come the end of the season.
Thus far, it is not clear whether or not he’ll be at the London Stadium for the 2025/26 campaign.
Antonio has proven that even at 34 he’s capable of playing every week in the Premier League so he may be handed a short-term contract.
Graham Potter will most certainly have a decision on his future but at the same time, he’s likely to want a marquee striker signing in the summer transfer window.
