West Ham ready triple new transfer before February 3 deadline. West Ham manager Graham Potter wants three signings before the deadline, according to Record.
The Portuguese newspaper reports in its print edition (page 24, 25 January) that the former Chelsea man is readying several new transfers, with the final third a priority after injuries. RB Leipzig forward Andre Silva and Ajax attacker Brian Brobbey are named as Irons targets, with Niclas Fullkrug and Michail Antonio both out long term.
West Ham need reinforcements this month
The Hammers are desperate for reinforcements in the winter transfer window as Potter seeks to salvage their season ahead of the 3 February deadline.
The East London club are sitting in 14th in the Premier League, having won just seven of their 22 matches in the competition this season.
Sporting director Tim Steidten is set to be dismissed from his post after his poor summer rebuild failed to pay off, with David Sullivan taking over from the German when it comes to identifying transfers.
The Hammers business has been underwhelming so far with no incomings to date, but they are expected to be busy in the final weeks of the window.
If Potter gets three additions to his squad, he may be able to transform the season after the dismal reign of Julen Lopetegui.
At the very least, he can lay the foundations for a positive campaign next season if the Irons can bring in the right players.
