West Ham ready deal to sign forward, he’s already at Rush Green – ExWHUEmployee. West Ham are weighing up a deal to sign on-trial forward Josh Landers, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The Hammers insider reported on 14 January that the Scotland under-16 international is currently on trial at Rush Green from Hibernian.
The 17-year-old is currently featuring for the academy side in East London while the Irons decide whether to offer the forward a contract.

There is no doubt that Graham Potter is in desperate need of a striker option at the London Stadium after facing multiple issues this campaign.
Michail Antonio was involved in a terrible car accident while Niclas Fullkrug pulled up against Aston Villa and could be out for months.
The “striker curse” continues to live on for the Irons with the likes of Gianluca Scamacca and Sebastien Haller also struggling during their spells in the Premier League.
As a result, the East London club could start to promote a forward option from within in the hope of finding a long-term striker option.

If Landers is to sign from Hibernian and remain in East London, there is every chance the Scot could make his opportunity in Rush Green count.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers offer a contract to the youngster and if they do, how much of an impact he can make in the coming years.
