West Ham have endured a really challenging 2024/25 season, and Mohammed Kudus has struggled under the leadership of Julen Lopetegui.
However, I fully expect the 24-year-old to improve drastically during the second half of the campaign.
Kudus suggested yesterday that the thing he loves most about East London is the West Ham fans.
That was really nice to hear, especially given the reports linking him with a big money move to Arsenal this month.
Hopefully Kudus will remain at the London Stadium for quite some time yet.
He is an explosive player with immense talent, and we have another player just like that, but even faster according to Mo.
Mohammed Kudus discusses West Ham’s fastest player
The 24-year-old is pretty quick himself in all fairness.
However, the Ghana international thinks one of his teammates is even faster.
Kudus has been speaking to WHUFC.com about a wide range of topics.
And the Ghanaian responded when asked who is the quickest player at the London Stadium:
“I think you need to ask the fitness coaches! I think Jazz [Jarrod Bowen] is fast.”
Whilst Jarrod Bowen has decent pace, I was sure Kudus was going to say someone like Crysencio Summerville or Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
I have never looked at Bowen and been blown away by his blistering pace.
He is an exceptional footballer, there’s no doubt about that, but I just thought his speed was just average at best.
Mohammed Kudus has put paid to that notion by suggesting that Jarrod Bowen is the quickest player at West Ham.
