European giants propose a swap deal for one of West Ham’s key players.
Aside from Declan Rice, West Ham have done an excellent job at keeping hold of their most important players over recent years. Unfortunately, without European football, the task of convincing these players to stay becomes increasingly more difficult, especially when they gain interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.

While they’re not the first to show interest, AC Milan are the latest club to want the Mexican, according to MilanLive.
Interestingly though, they’re not wanting to do a normal cash deal, they reportedly want to do a swap deal which would see Ruben Loftus-Cheek join the Hammers.
Although he’s impressed since moving to Italy, there’s no denying that he’s nowhere near the level of Alvarez. If our Irons was to accept this deal, it would have to include a very large sum of money still, otherwise it’s simply not worth it.

He was a decent player at Chelsea, but nothing more. Obviously, the fact he’s homegrown does make him slightly more valuable to West Ham, but this still doesn’t justify a straight swap.
