Brand new update regarding West Ham moves for Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez. West Ham United are chasing numerous deals right now, including ones for Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez.
Guido Rodriguez and Niclas Fullkrug are reported transfer targets for West Ham, as Julen Lopetegui tries to wrap up another couple of deals following the confirmed signing of Crysencio Summerville.
The Hammers head coach has already made three top-class signings this summer, and the addition of Wes Foderingham was a smart one as well in my eyes.
He’s far from done though, and is pushing hard to get deals for Fullkrug and Rodriguez over the line as soon as possible.
Numerous reports have suggested that both players are in the midst of completing their medicals, and could even be confirmed as new West Ham signings tonight.

However, it seems as though those reports may well have jumped the gun. As West Ham fans we all know not to count our chickens before we actually see the player holding up the shirt.
So what’s the current state of play?
West Ham update on Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez. The German striker and the Argentinian midfielder will be fine additions to Lopetegui’s squad if we manage to get deals for them done and dusted.
Both are on the wrong side of 30, but they’re hugely experienced, and possess the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League. The beauty of signing both players is that they won’t cost more than £22.5 million combined.
So could we really see them both officially announced today? Hammers insider Sean Whetstone has taken to X to provide an in depth update on both deals.

He said, “Despite conflicting reports, Part one medicals for Niclas Füllkrug and Guido Rodriguez are today after both players flew in yesterday afternoon and evening. Part two medicals are scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) Contracts should be signed late Monday if all goes well with announcements either last Monday or Tuesday morning after media work.“ So judging by that update, both of them will be West Ham players very soon indeed. However, neither deal will be complete tonight according to Whetstone.
That’s no surprise really is it, things usually are rather quiet over the week, although we did confirm the Summerville deal late last night. As long as West Ham get the signings of Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez wrapped up before our next pre-season game,we’ll be in good shape.
