Crystal Palace want to hijack West Ham United transfer as Reiss Nelson agrees move. West Ham face competition from Crystal Palace over the transfer of Reiss Nelson despite the Arsenal winger agreeing to move to the London Stadium, according to TEAMtalk.
TEAMtalk reported on July 17 that while Nelson has made clear his intention to move to the London Stadium this summer, the Eagles are still in contact with the forward and hoping to hijack the deal.
However, the Irons remain “in the driving seat” to sign Nelson, who has been told he is free to leave Arsenal after several seasons on the fringes, and a deal could be struck between the clubs within days.
Palace have reportedly offered the 24-year-old a long-term deal to move to Selhurst Park as well as regular first-team football, but it remains to be seen if Nelson will choose them over a switch to the Irons.

Kudus has made himself a player the Irons simply must hang onto this summer and Bowen is also someone who has excelled across a number of seasons in claret and blue, as well as impressing in the few minutes he was given for England at the European Championship.

Having already signed one winger this summer – 19-year-old Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras – Nelson’s path into Lopetegui’s first-choice XI isn’t exactly clear at the London Stadium.
However, with four seasons of Premier League experience already under his belt and two loan spells in Europe, Nelson is still well-placed to stake his claim as a regular starter for the Hammers next season.
