Brentford will have to drop their asking price for Tottenham and West Ham target Ivan Toney if he is to seal a summer exit, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the Bees are currently demanding between £50-60million to sell the 28-year-old – and that price tag is deemed excessive for a player with just 12 months left to run on his contract.
Tottenham, West Ham and Man United hold the strongest interest in Toney as they search for new striking options.
Spurs are particularly big admirers of the England international following his scoring exploits for Brentford in recent years.
The 6ft 1in star is further down the pecking order of top targets at West Ham and Man United.
Toney had also been on the list of targets at Chelsea but is no longer a priority at Stamford Bridge.

Football Insider revealed in March that Arsenal have cooled their interest in the striker after extensive speculation surrounding a potential swoop.
Brentford now face a tough decision on Toney’s future with the London club in a weak negotiating position due to his perilous contract situation and poor recent form.
The 28-year-old returned from a ban for gambling rule breaches in January and managed four goals and two assists in 17 appearances in the 2023-24 campaign.
Toney became hot property in the previous season after hitting 20 Premier League goals in 33 top-flight appearances.
The three-cap star is part of the England squad for this summer’s European Championships in Germany but did not feature off the bench in their group win over Serbia.
