As they consider their options on the transfer market, Arsenal are looking at cashing in on some current players in order to add to their summer funds. A number of names have been linked with exits ahead of the new Premier League season and Emile Smith Rowe is one man on the chopping block.
The 23-year-old has seriously struggled for game time recently and with the Gunners looking to further bolster their options on the market, he will only further slip out of favour. According to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke, Arsenal have now decided they will ‘accept a bid of £30 million’ if it comes their way for Smith Rowe this summer.
With just 13 appearances in the Premier League last season and plenty still to prove, Smith Rowe will be looking at a club who can offer him regular first team football. Fulham are said to be interested in snapping up the England youth international now the transfer window is open.
West Ham have bid accepted for 17-assist winger
Fluminense is a club that has been attracting interest from a number of English teams since last summer. West Ham have been digging around and have reportedly had a bid accepted for Colombian winger Jhon Arias.
According to RTI Esporte, the Irons tabled an offer of €13 million (£11m) for Arias and Fluminense have accepted, with negotiations now ‘at an advanced stage’ and a deal could be finalised in ‘in the next few days’.
Arias impressed with his performances across the board during the 2022/23 season, contributing 11 goals and 17 assists for the Tricolor club. The current season is still in play and will come to a close in December — Arias has already contributed seven goals and four assists in all tournaments and has played in six different positions, including both wings and in midfield.
