The 27-year-old is definitely the type of player who I can see staying at the London Stadium for his entire career, as long as we match his ambition of course. Bowen is a real fan favourite at West Ham, and here’s hoping to many more years of him wearing the famous claret and blue.
So what is the new claim being made about Bowen’s deal? The good news is that there is absolutely nothing to worry about! According to The Athletic, it was in fact Tim Steidten who accelerated new contract talks with Jarrod Bowen back in October of last year.
Crucially, the Hammers managed to tie down the 27-year-old to a deal that runs until the summer of 2030 as a result of Steidten’s influence on proceedings. At the time, David Moyes was lavished with praise for tying down our very best player to a new seven-year deal (WHUFC.com).
However, it seems as though it may well have been Tim Steidten who got the new Jarrod Bowen contract over the line.
