The report continues that Palace are braced for an official approach this week for the 49-year-old who has built an excellent reputation for his work at Palace.
United see Freedman as the ideal choice to work within the brand-new structure at Old Trafford.
What should Steve Parish do if Freedman leaves?
Losing Freedman is a massive loss for Palace and Steve Parish will be tasked with finding the next best thing as soon as he can.
But what would be best possible solution be? To replace the man United want, Palace should make a move for the other major name on the list at Old Trafford.
This would involve Palace making a move for Southampton’s Jason Wilcox who was formerly at Manchester City. Another option would be to give Glasner a say in who to bring in with a Bundesliga-experienced man likely in that event.
