West Ham considering manager who John Terry said ‘ticks every box’
West Ham United are currently in a poor run of form and, as a result, David Moyes’ future at the club is increasingly uncertain.
The Hammers are yet to win in 2024 and have lost their last two games by an aggregate scoreline of 9-0.
West Ham’s last result was especially painful, Arsenal hammering the Hammers 6-0 on their own patch, with Declan Rice rounding off the scoring.
Now, according to The Telegraph, Moyes is facing a fight to keep his job ahead of a crucial run of games against teams in the lower reaches of the Premier League.
The report claims that the 60-year-old is almost certain to be sacked if West Ham also struggle against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Everton and Burnley.
Graham Potter is said to be one of the managers on the radar of the Hammers board should they decide to part company with Moyes.

Now, while Potter’s last spell in charge – at Chelsea – didn’t go well and ended in his sacking, he was going from strength to strength prior to that stint.
Earlier in his career, the 48-year-old shone at Swedish club Ostersund, steering them from the fourth tier to the top flight.
He also won a Swedish Cup at the club, and embarked on a solid Europa League run.
Then, at Brighton, Potter got the south coast side punching well above their weight and laid the foundations for them to get to where they are now.
Prior to Potter’s switch to Chelsea, John Terry took to X to say he thought Potter “ticks every box” and is “one of the best young managers around”.

All in all, Potter looks like a good shout for West Ham. He’ll be eager to put his Chelsea stint behind him and get his stock back up again.
