West Ham club chief quits after seven years, he’s joined boyhood club Tottenham
Done deal: Jake Heath quits West Ham United to join Tottenham in behind-the-scenes role
Jake Heath has left his behind-the-scenes role with West Ham to take up a similar position with Tottenham.
As confirmed by his personal LinkedIn account, Heath has now started work as Tottenham’s Head of Supporter Engagement.
He had spent more than seven years as West Ham’s Head of Supporter Services between November 2016 and January 2024.
West Ham must find replacement
An SLO at any club is somewhat of an unsung hero given they deal with all number of complaints and issues.
Heath was in his role for long enough to make him a familiar figure, but United will now need to bring in a replacement.
It has been suggested that Heath is a Tottenham fan, so you cannot knock him for wanting to take up that similar role at our neighbours.
The Irons have been through plenty of ups and down across the past seven-and-a-bit years, all of which Heath has been in place for.
This is not exactly a change that will send shockwaves through the club, but it does leave a position that needs to be filled – if it has not already.
