West Ham United will open their 2024/25 season at home to Aston Villa.
The Hammers welcome Unai Emery’s side to London Stadium on Saturday 17 August for a 5.30pm BST kick-off to get the new Premier League campaign started. The match will be broadcast live in the UK by Sky Sports.
The first month of 2024/25 continues with an away London derby at Crystal Palace, with Julen Lopetegui’s team travelling to Selhurst Park on Saturday 24 August, before we return home to face last season’s champions Manchester City on Saturday 31 August.
The campaign concludes away at newly-promoted Ipswich Town on Sunday 25 May, while our final home game sees us take on Nottingham Forest on Sunday 18 May.
Other notable dates include a Boxing Day trip to Southampton, with the festive season also featuring home fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday 21 December and Liverpool on Sunday 29 December.
Supporters should note that all Premier League fixtures are subject to change.
In addition, our home game against Manchester United on Saturday 26 October will be subject to movement that weekend due to the Red Devils’ participation in the UEFA Europa League the preceding Thursday.
Likewise, should Tottenham Hotspur and/or Manchester United reach the semi-finals of the same competition, our fixtures against them in early May would also be subject to change.
The UK broadcast selections for the early match rounds are estimated to be completed by 5 July, with October’s broadcast selections to follow by 19 August; November’s by 13 September; December’s and January’s by 14 October; February’s by 9 December; March’s by 24 January; April’s by 28 February; Match Round 35’s by 21 March; Match Round 36’s by 28 March; Match Round 37’s by 4 April; and the final Match Round’s after each club has played 37 games. Please note that all dates are approximate.
Furthermore, the Hammers will begin our Carabao Cup challenge at the second round stage in the week commencing Monday 26 August, while the Emirates FA Cup third round will be held over the weekend of Saturday 11 January 2025.
