10 best Premier League free agents Crystal Palace, Fulham, West Ham and rivals can still sign after transfer deadline. A look at the top 10 Premier League free agents who could make an impact at some of the London clubs after the closure of the summer transfer window.

The summer transfer window is now closed but clubs can still add to their squads in the form of free agents ahead of the Premier League squad submission deadline on September 14.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are not likely to dip into this particular market, but some of these players could have an impact at Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham. Here are the top 10 free agents who have played for a current Premier League club within the last year based on Transfermarkt values. Take a look below.

    10. Saman Ghodos (Last club: Brentford)

The versatile winger and full-back is looking for a club after his Brentford exit this summer. The 30-year-old is valued at £1.68m. He made 78 league appearances for the Bees, scoring five times. He is an Iran international.

    9. Cedric Soares (Last club: Arsenal)

Soares departed Arsenal at the end of his contract this summer having made 36 league appearances for the club and also having a loan spell with Fulham. The 33-year-old full-back would be a cover option for most clubs at this stage of his career. He is valued at £1.68m

    8. Ivan Perisic (Last club: Hajduk Split)

We will include Perisic because of his Premier League experience with Tottenham and the fact he only made one league appearance with Hajduk Split before ripping up his contract following a falling out with the manager. The 35-year-old winger will still feel he can do a job for someone, and a number of European clubs were said to be talking to him on deadline day. He is valued at £1.68m.

    7. Willian (Last club: Fulham)

The 36-year-old winger is looking for a club after departing Fulham at the end of his deal. He has recently told the BBC: “I am looking at some options at the moment. I am thinking about possibilities in Europe, England, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the MLS – just not Brazil as an option for me. I am trying to see all the possibilities and think about making the right decision right now. I have some offers already and this is the key moment to decide my next challenge.” Willian is valued at £2.5m.

    6. Serge Aurier (Last club: Galatasaray)

The 31-year-old is on the lookout for a new club after a short term deal with Galatasaray at the back-end of last season. He made 36 league appearances for Nottingham Forest before that having joined from Villarreal. The former Tottenham man is now 31 years of age and valued at £3.1m.

    5. Steven Alzate (Last club: Brighton)

The 25-year-old midfielder left Brighton after making 43 league appearances for the Seagulls. He was said to be on trial with Ipswich Town, but it seems as though that deal did not work out. He is valued at £3.3million.

    4. Dennis Praet (Last club: Leicester City)

Praet departed Leicester City after five years and having represented them in the Premier League, making 81 league appearances in all. The midfielder is said to be angling for a move back to Italy having played there previously. The 30-year-old is valued at £3.3m.

    3. Joel Matip (Last club: Liverpool)

On to the big boys and Joel Matip is still looking for a new club having left Liverpool. The 33-year-old centre-back is reportedly in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a possible move to join the Bundesliga champions. He made 150 league appearances for the Reds and is valued at £6.7m.

    2. Andre Gomes (Last club: Everton)

Former Everton man Andre Gomes is still searching for his next job having made 73 league appearances in five league appearances for the Toffees. The former Portugal international is now 31 years of age. He is valued at £8.4m.

    1. Anthony Martial (Last club: Manchester United)

The best of the fee agent players to played in the Premier League within he last year is Anthony Martial.
